Due to a series of requests from participants at  the Llanelli Waterside Triathlon which took place on the 22nd May ... the following statement has been drafted .....

Human Being Active although heavily involved in its promotion, was not involved in the events organisation. It is organised and hosted by the experienced Healthy Life Activities team.

However, it is with sadness to report that due to some issues, the event failed to meet its normally high standards with the results becoming null & void. We are sure the organisers are devastated with its outcome.

Unforseen issues do and will always occur in almost all types of events, and sometimes things do go wrong; this is applicable to all organising teams including HBA.

Human Being Active wants to see events of this type be successful in this and other regions of Wales and the UK. We are certain that the organisers have learned a lesson and will ensure, that the LWT will return to its normal high standards in 2012 as one of the best triathlons in the UK.

Human Being Active would like you to continue supporting this and other Wales based events. This will help massively towards building a strong infrastructure in participation of sport and related activities for years to come.

It will also provide a platform for people of all ages and abilities to move towards and or stay with a healthy active lifestyle.
